Cheryl & Skip @ C & M Events, LLC. are proud to announce the New Needles Rt. 66 Music Brews and BBQ Championship. We expect to have final KCBS approval in a few days, along with making this a CA ToY. Further info along with team & judges applications will follow the first of May. Mark your calendar for this one as we will have $7500. minimum up for grabs. Yes this is another event right along the river just up stream a bit. It will be held in Needles along the Historic Route 66 @ Jack Smith Park. There is a boat launch right at the venue along with a private beach and lagoon, weather should be in the high eighties to low nineties, perfect for some great barbecuing, water sports and golf that time of year. We will have a Peoples Choice with 50/50 split on $2.00 tickets on Saturday from 1-4 pm. More details to come as we finalize this event. K & K MacIntosh will be our Reps on this one.

The course is right next door to the venue site and teams can play Thursday, Friday or Sunday.

The breakdown for each category is as follows:

   Grand Champion:        Twelve Hundred Dollars Plus Trophy

   Reserve Grand Champion: Eight Hundred Dollars Plus Trophy

   First Place:  $425.00 Plus Trophy
   Second Place: $350.00 Plus Trophy
   Third Place:  $275.00 Plus Trophy
   Fourth Place: $200.00 Plus Trophy
   Fifth Place:  $125.00 Plus Trophy
