The lodge at Feather falls Casino will be giving Discounted rate of $89.00 to BBQ Teams, for reservations call 877-652-4646 and give them the rate code (Ribs) and team name.

The Lodge @ feather falls is full, so check out the super 8 in Oroville and mention feather falls sent you and get a 10% discount

High Sierra Smoke house will be doing a demonstration on making smoked sausage.

Rules and regulations

  • Event is open to Pros and Amateurs
  • This is a three meat cook Tri-Tip / Chicken (Thighs) & St Louis Pork Ribs
  • Must enter all three meats to qualify for Grand and Reserve Champion
  • Must vend to public to be eligible for People Choice Prize money
  • Entry fee is $100 and is non re-fundable
  • $3000.00 total payout
  • $325 for Grand Champion / $225 for Reserve Grand Champion
  • 1st place $200.00 / 2nd place $150.00 / 3rd place $125.00 / 4th place $100.00 / 5th place $75.00 per division
  • $500 for Peoples Choice Champion, prize money goes to only teams that vend to the public
  • Teams can start setting up at 5:00 a.m. on October 27th. Be prepared to serve to public by 1:30 p.m.
  • NO GARNISH !!!!!!!
  • Teams will unload their set up and then remove vehicles to a designated parking site. Small cooking trailers will be allowed at the discretion of the Feather Falls casino (no vehicles at cook site)
  • Meat Inspection will be done at check in (no pre-seasoning or marinade before inspection)
  • All judged meats must be prepared on site
  • 1st turn in (Chicken) will be at 12:00 noon, second turn in (Tri-Tip) will be 12:30pm third and final (Ribs) turn in will be at 1:00pm
  • Peoples Choice sampling/vending starts at 1:30 p.m and ends at 4:00 p.m Awards Show will start at 4:30 p.m
  • Teams can set Peoples Choice vending food amounts to be served per ticket
  • Feather Falls Casino must approve menu items for vending
  • Teams must supply all grills, fuel, and booth materials, cooking utensils, sauces, rubs and ingredients
  • Water and power will be available
  • Each Team must have a minimum 5lb-working fire extinguisher at cook site
  • Overnight dry camping will be available for those choosing to come in Friday evening.
  • Break down and clean up is allowed after 4:00 p.m No vehicles inside event while guests are in attendance. Team/Vendor agrees to clean and vacate premises by 7:00 p.m. on October 27 2012
  • Event will be held rain or shine, no refunds
  • Wood, briquets, pellets and gas legal ( No Electric)
